LUCA'S BIO

Luca graduated from the Rolf Institute of Structural Integration in Boulder, CO. Instruction at the Rolf Institute includes anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, Rolf Movement and movement analysis.

After receiving degrees in Biology and Spanish from WWU in 2000, she worked for the Forest Service in Whatcom and Skagit Counties as a Wilderness Ranger and Trails Technician for ten years. Over 6 years ago, Luca decided to switch careers and fell in love with Rolfing Structural Integration work after it helped her deal with chronic neck and back pain.

Luca uses Rolfing Structural Integration, life experiences and continuing education to help understand and work with each individual's structure. For instance, she has worked with yoga students, loggers, welders, carpenters, runners, professional skiers and snowboarders, mountain bikers, circus performers, drummers, guitarists and people who do office work.

As a Rolfer and movement teacher, her greatest joy comes from helping people gain more body awareness and heal from injuries, trauma and poor movement habits.
